In November of 2011, Mindex, jazzy downtempo and glitch hop music producer, met Christina Sofina, the soul-singing hip-hop diva of Moscow. The musicians got on well quickly and decided to collaborate, driven by a common idea. This meeting was a lucky one for Mindex as he had been looking for a vocalist with a smooth and jazzy style of singing. Christina's voice blends well with Mindex’ electronic sounds, adding warmth and an even deeper dimension to his music. The result of the first studio session was the track "Dream Big," carrying a vintage sound, light and airy. Later on, Mindex made 2 remixes of the track, which are also included on the single. "With these two tracks I wanted to take a detour from the synth-heavy previous release and explore the kind of feelings inspired by the enjoyment of watching old movies, particularly of the film noir genre. Setting the stage and reflecting that with moody atmospheres, warm basses and intriguing sounds. In a way, I guess, this is a tribute to those old classics and the little details that added to their attraction, where even a simple candle or mysterious silhouette is almost a character itself." The track "One Day in Cocoon" combines fragile female vocals and а precise electronic structure, comprising delicate melodies and hard-hitting drums. Designed to mirror the male and female forms, hot and cold - these two opposites are intertwined in a picturesque tapestry of sounds. The title of the track and the single came about when the musicians, fascinated by the process of making music, realised that they had stayed in the studio for more than 24 hours, surrounded by walls covered with a material resembling to a surface of a cocoon. Thoughts about the variety of life forms on planet Earth, as well as the ability of any living organism to transform, prompted Mindex to write the track "New Life Form." It's an attempt to connect the organic and mechanic to create a new unique sound form of life. In this track you can hear the living, breathing bass, mechanical sounds of the percussion, and the turquoise pearl sound in the background, all forming a landscape for an unknown living creature of sounds.

Influenced by genres ranging from classical, ethnic, soul through current electronic music, the debut EP "Luna Soul" by Galimatias sets off in a futuristic, stellar setting. The 4-track EP delivers a variety of sounds ranging from melancholic piano-based pieces to more synth-heavy productions. Common for these tracks is the melancholic feeling they evoke. Take a night stroll, gaze at the stars, and this music will invite you to ponder about life. When asked about who and what influenced his release, Galimatias quotes Vincent van Gogh: "For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream." "Below Zero has always been a big fan of Loodma Recordings, and the single 'In the Forest' by Minor Rain once again doesn't disappoint. The sounds are very fresh, but also reach back to some old familiar styles, and both tracks are very engaging. The title track 'In the Forest' is a blend of atmospheric drum & bass fused with psychedelic candy that is layered over a minor rain, indeed. "The Awakening EP" is Mr Lefteye's second release containing four original tracks. "You I See" is an expert presentation of the beauty in several styles of music colliding to make one. LaMeduza steeps her mesmerizingly beautiful voice to the ever creative sound of Mr Lefteye's instrumentation, fusing a combo of immense electronica inklings. "Underwater City" features some lovely eastern instruments mixed with big beats cutting through the sonics. You can also hear drum & bass, dub and reggae influences that have always been a prevalent force in Mr Lefteye's projects. "Cut Up Biz" is a more relaxed but still quite beat-heavy track. Classical orchestral strings fused with indie-like guitars stand firmly on top of some finely programmed experimantal beats. "Ancient City of Kyoto" blends eastern percussion and instrumentation with just enough western rhythm and other elements perfectly prepared and deliverd. It's quite a chilled out track with dreamlike peace and gentle progressions.

"Dance with Me" combines the soulful vocals of Rebeka France alongside jazz elements, rolling beats, deep bassline and of course the liquid drum & bass sound. The strong jazzy piano hooks compliment the dance floor track that will surely appeal to the masses with it's smooth and seductive sound. "That Thing" with it's dramatic strings, tight drums, rolling bassline, fast paced movement and catchy raw vocals from Rebeka France brings the uplifting liquid drum & bass vibe back to the dancefloor.
